I try hard, but most of the time I fail. I am a Colorado native and took one semester of meteorology in college . . . which makes me just as qualified as any meteorologist gracing our TV screens.
Madness out there today . . . mainly east and north of the city. There were at least three tornadoes spotted, but I really couldn't tell you exactly where they were. I'm guessing one was south of Greeley, but that's as far as I'm willing to go. If any of our FKS Northern Colorado weather spotters got any good looks at the thing, please send that action my way. Too many people are firing off photo after photo to the gimps at 9News and it's making me look bad. I suppose I just ought to show you one of them:
You'll be glad to know that, like 9news, I have a weather deck at FKS headquarters. Some of you are aware of this due to my brave coverage of the late March snowstorm earlier in the year. Whelp, I made it up there tonight and while the video captures very little in the way of compelling weather, I think it still might fire you up:

Thanks Flip! Those hot flashes were super intense! Fuck me man! I think Kathy S. @ Nine Newz should try her hand at a lightning strike doppler prediction model. Then we'll see how good little red is. We should stand outside her window and make thunder sounds, then when she goes to work she will be all, "there was totally a bunch of thunder or whatever by my crib last night, did yous guys hear that?"
FLIP!?! Do you still have a pulse? Where are you? I know you hate these predictable 90+ days with the late day storms... even a 6 year old can predict these. By the way, I love the foreign followers you seem to have; from Egypt maybe, as they seem to write in hyrogliphs.
